5.12 Server watchdogDifferent PVSR modules send watchdog messages periodically into the system to indicate that they are working correctly. If a module does not send watchdog messages in the required time then the system sends an error level server message. Some of the modules have children processes who also send watchdog messages. The page shows the different server modules, in multiple rows if the module has children processes. For each item the page shows the module status, host-login-directory information, the process id (PID) if the module is currently running, the last time a watchdog message was received from the process and the time this message will expire, i.e. when the system will decide that the module is not behaving correctly (if no new watchdog message arrives until then). If the process is currently connected to PVSR’s database server then the Oracle session id (SID) is displayed as well. This information cell can be opened and then the page shows data for this Oracle session, including the executed SQL statements. |
