7.2 Measurement definitions

As we have seen it earlier, in the equipment configuration process other measurements (such as CPU, memory, or disk, etc.) could be added depending on the type of the equipment. The system has such types of measurements by default but new ones can be defined:

ˇ       In case of SNMP: any SNMP expression can be specified

ˇ       In case of a non-active measuring type (e.g. general ASCII): arbitrary variable from the received file can be selected, but one PVSR measurement definition can refer to only one such variable

ˇ       In other cases: the expression can be built up arbitrarily from the variables returned by the measurement server similarly to SNMP
