6.5.6 Unsuccessful measurements reportThis page has a similar functionality as the 6.5.5 Search for unsuccessful measurements page: it can be used to search for unsuccessful measurements or equipments. The difference is that on this page the users can create scheduled reports for selected sites and the system periodically generates the reports and sends them out via email and also keeps them in a report repository. This has two major advantages compared to the other page: · The specified number of reports are kept in the system which makes it easy to trek the progress of these configuration changes · Since the reports are generated automatically in the background the users can specify a greater timespan and they don’t have to wait several minutes for the report to complete Unlike the other page here a site has to be selected and not a server group, which makes it easier to get an overall view of the data collection processes. Each report has two outputs: a HTML page showing the results and the same results in an Excel file. The report schedule parameters: · Name · Site: the report will be calculated for every equipment under the site at any site level · Report type: same as the first option on the Search for unsuccessful measurements page · Run cycle: how often should the report be generated · Unsuccessful time span: how far in the past should the application look for measurement values · Reports to keep: how many reports must be stored in the database · E-mail: e-mail addresses where the report must be sent. This parameter is optional since the reports are kept in the database as well For each report schedule in the table the [reports] link can be used to view the previously generated reports and each report can be viewed as a HTML page and downloaded as an Excel file. |
