6.13.2 Create a new equipment

·       Choose a type/template: on the left side of the page PVSR shows the configured equipment templates while on the right side of the page it shows all the different equipment types

·       New/existing site: the equipment can be created under an existing site but the wizard can create a new site as well. The next steps differ in these cases:

o   Either a parent site must be selected for the equipment, similar to the Search submenu

o   Or first a parent site must be selected for the new site, similar to the Search submenu and after that the new site’s parameters must be specified

·       Equipment parameters: the different mandatory and optional parameters for the equipment. If a template was chosen in the first step then the default values come from the template

·       Creating the equipment: if a template was chosen in the first step and the equipment type supports the measurement discovery then it is only created if PVSR is able to discover the measurements. Otherwise it is always created. Further steps:

o   Create new measurements

o   View the equipment in the Settings menu

o   View the equipment in the Measurement menu
