7.1 Uploading MIB s

It is possible to upload SNMP MIBs with the help of  Settings=>Templates=>Upload MIB page. These uploaded MIBs can be used in measurement definitions and the configuration of received SNMP traps. The system contains initially some MIBs already. Some of the MIBs cannot be deleted on this page: the basic ones which initially came with PVSR and the ones which are used in traps or in measurement type definitions. The user can view the processed content of an uploaded MIB by clicking on the [view] link next to its name and he can also use this page to create new measurement definitions in PVSR.
