13.1 Installation
PVSR’s installer can be run on different versions of RedHat/CentOS/OracleLinux/AlmaLinux/Rocky Linux operating systems. Henceforth the term Linux may refer to any of the supported RedHat-like Linux platform: Red Hat, CentOS, Oracle Linux, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux.
The list below contains the supported operating systems and Oracle versions. The Oracle version means in each case the version of the Oracle client, PVSR supports generally on all platforms the Oracle server versions 9.2, 10.2, 11.2, 12.1, 18, 19 and 21.
Oracle Instant Client is also supported.
