14.1.1 New measurement server types and additional properties

The measurement server definitions and their other properties are stored in the database. Their modification is not supported from the user interface, because for a new measurement server an application implementing a specific API must be developed, and no new parameters are required for existing measurement servers as they could not handle those.

Even though these modifications can be carried out in the database freely, and the use of the API is rather easy, these are not covered in this manual. Please refer to the PerformanceVisor API handbook for further details.
