6.6 Receiving SNMP Trap and Syslog

PVSR is capable to receive SNMP Traps and Syslog messages, to correlate them and to show them as alarms. To use this feature, the following configurations needs to be done: for SNMP traps upload the SNMP MIB into the PVSR database (see section 7.1), configure the trap/message reception and optionally set the managed statuses of event instances.
