14.1.22 CallManager measurement servers

The CallManager measurement servers collect performance data from Cisco CallManagers.

Each equipment has the following additional parameters (the code of the parameter is given in parenthesis; see Subsection 7.5.6 on Parameters of non-SNMP data collectors):

·       IP address (CALLMANAGER EQ 1 IP): The IP address of the CallManager

·       Port (CALLMANAGER EQ 1 PORT): The port on which the CallManager management is listening. The default value is 8443

·       User (CALLMANAGER EQ 2 USER): The user used to connect to the CallManager server. The user must be an “Application user” with the following rights:

o   Standard CCM Admin Users role

o   SOAP APIs (SOAP Control Center APIs, SOAP Performance Information APIs, …)

·       Password (CALLMANAGER EQ 3 PWD): The password for the user

·       Protocol (CALLMANAGER EQ 4 PROT): Either HTTP or HTTPS

PVSR has three different type of data collection for the CallManager:

·       Performance parameters available through the PerfmonPort SOAP API. These parameters are the same as the measurements on the System > Performance page in the Cisco Real Time Monitoring Tool

·       Service statuses available on the System > Critical Services page in the Cisco Real Time Monitoring Tool

·       Alarm states available on the System > Alert Central page in the Cisco Real Time Monitoring Tool
